The ecosystem includes:

- PV-iMIP: It is designed to improve the quality of medical images from medical imaging equipments. Based on deep learning, it can process multimodal images and its results can assist clinicians for acute and rapid diagnosis. Functions/Products include virtual filter, low-dose image enhancement, DR One-shot dual-energy subtraction imaging, ribs suppression, thoracic extraction.

PV-iMIP

- PV-iCAD: an intelligent assisted diagnosis system designed to automatically detect and locate small pulmonary nodules with size, volume, mass, malignancy prediction rate, and other quantitative analysis results output.

PV-iCAD

- PV-iSA: a system using AI to serve in the field of surgical, assisting in precision surgery of the thoracic cavity and abdominal cavity. The system can automatically and precisely segment the organs within minutes, output clear reconstructions and full quantitative analysis results, ensuring the certainty and predictability within clinical treatment practices and advancing precision surgery into the next level.

PV-iSA

- PV-iCurve: a precise, rapid, intelligent system for automatic contouring in radiotherapy. It aims at assisting clinicians precisely contouring OARs, GTV, and CTV, reducing work time from hours to minutes, and improving work efficiency and accuracy.

Seeking solutions to ease the burnout for care providers of radiology and radiation oncology has always been the needs of the medical industry, and artificial intelligence has shown its potential to be such applications by offering efficiency as well as accuracy to clinicians under some certain clinical scenarios. However, researching the actual medical needs and behaviors has been an obstacle for some AI providers, as not all the product managers have the abilities or resources to communicate with real-life physicians. Besides, how to collect high-quality data for product developments is not easy because the access to medical data is often limited, and the AI-based devices have the nature of “garbage in, garbage out”  meaning what results can the intelligent system output highly relies on the data input. Meanwhile, the AI has to seamlessly connect to the workflow without significantly changing their existing working modes, which requires the manufacturers to dig into the behavior of their work behaviors.

PVmed staffs introduce their healthcare solutions to the visitors

PVmed, as a front-runner in the medical field, is a doctor-centered technology startup, highly values the relationship between the hospitals and the company. The company believes the foundation of medical products is based on well-communication with the doctors. Thus, PVmed has supported and engaged in numerous medical academic meetings/fairs since the foundation. This is not only the way to show what they can do to empower the care-providers but also the way for them to learn from the latest medical researches so that R&D can continuously iterate products to meet or even drive physicians constantly-changing requirements. By far, PVmed has built strategic partnerships with top tier hospitals including Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, one of the influential hospital domestic and abroad, in terms of solutions co-developing and academic researching of cancer treatment.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has gone through a process from break out, being controlled, and then be the new normal. All healthcare practitioners are facing greater responsibility and expectations from society. The introduction of CMEF

First launched in the year 1979, the China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) is  an international trade fair for medical needs, which is held twice a year - spring and autumn. After 40 years of self-innovation and improvement, CMEF has become one of the largest medical supplies platform across the world. Exhibitors in the fair will show on their latest medical products and solutions, communicating the most innovative medical technology and future trend to the public and professionals. Also, brand promotion, new product launches, procurement, collaboration and other activities are commonly seen during the fair. The CMEF has grow into a event with over 30 subcategory including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computer tomography (CT), artificial intelligence (AI) and other advanced achievements in this field.

This year over 5000 medical device manufactures from 30+ countries or regions show exhibitions at CMEF. In terms of trading and business cooperation, about 2,000 specialists and talents and almost 200,000 visitors and buyers including government procurement agencies, hospital buyers and dealers from over 100 countries and regions gather here to discuss the business.
